My babies

My precious babies:

Abercrombie (Crombie) is doing pretty good with his heart condition. He had gained weight last time we had him at the vet which is great. And just a side note - I was at an Adoption Fair this past weekend with the FCC and ran into Crombie's cardiologist and found out that he and his wife had recently adopted from Russia. The world is so small.

Equal Time

Let me clarify - Karly is not my only niece. She just happens to be the youngest - at least for now. My sister is expecting at the end of November! Here are my other nieces and nephews:

This is my nephew Jesse and my niece Lindsay. It still stuns me to say out loud how old they are....especially since I haven't aged a bit! :-) Lindsay and Kelsey. Kelsey is our cheerleader, actress, singer and all around drama queen. :-) Holly B. Golly Curtis in his favorite spot (2nd favorite - being on the tube is 1st)

And one very serious Karly.

No new news on the adoption front. I have heard that referrals should be coming soon and hopefully they go through December 12th or so. I'm thrilled for all of those families included in this batch! I just know it will be us someday! In the meantime, I am going to spend as much time enjoying the kids in these pictures as they mean the world to me!

Long Time......

Well you know the rest. So here it is a couple of months since I created this blog and I have not updated it. Shame on me. Truth be told, I'm just not sure what, if anything, of interest I have to say. But I'm going to give it a shot and try to update as much as I can.

We have now been logged in for 6 months!!! It's hard to believe - the time has actually gone by faster than I thought it would. But we've been keeping pretty busy in that time - summer had us boating every weekend. Now that fall has finally arrived, we are getting ready for Thanksgiving which we will be hosting at our house this year.

I will sign off for the day with a couple of great pictures of the cutest Bengal fan there is (my niece Karly)!
